Make a decorative porcelain t- light and mini tags, using Emma Louise’s work examples to inspire you.
You will learn about working with porcelain, how to add texture and how to apply oxides and glazes, to create beautiful unique pieces.
Suitable for all.

Emma Louise workshop

The opportunity to work with porcelain clay and such an inspirational artist as Emma Louise Wilson is one not to be missed.
Emma will show you how to mark make in your porcelain and then build your t – light ready to add colour. You can chose your personal theme for your t – light, you may want to make it festive or have a special theme in mind.

If you have any rubber stamps or anything you can make mark
marks in the clay like lace or vintage embroidery please bring these. otherwise Emma will have lots of onjects you can use.
About Emma Louise Emma Louise Wilson

Emma graduated with a B.A.(hons) in three dimensional design from the University of Central Lancashire. Her degree specialism’s were ceramics and surface pattern. Following her degree show, she was awarded an arts grant to setup her own ceramics business in a craft centre in Cumbria. In 1996 Emma moved to Staffordshire to teach Art and Design and has done so for the last 14 years. Emma has recently made the decision to leave teaching to concentrate on her own Artwork.

There will be a £5 charge payable on the day to cover firing and returning work for collection in Garstang.

Booking for all workshops is essential to avoid disappointment.

Please contact Linda either via email or phone to confirm there is a place available for the workshop you wish to attend. Your place will then be reserved for 10 days whilst you arrange payment either by cheque or BACs payment.

Creative Thread Workshops reserves the right to cancel a workshop if insufficient numbers enrol – we will either return your payment or offer an alternative date.

Payment is non-refundable if you cancel within 2 weeks of the workshop date. We will try our best to fill your place, if we do we will refund your payment or you can use your payment towards a future booking.
